However, we managed to visit four states in less than 3 weeks: California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. We started in Los Angeles, but of course you can customize the entire route to take off in eg. San Francisco. Let’s see how our West Coast road trip itinerary looked like.

Yosemite – this is an icon. Fans of rock climbing will instantly think about walls of El Capitan, Half Dome, Mount Lyell… Just to name a few. I never saw a Big Tree that had died a natural death. Barring accidents they seem to be immortal, being exempt from all diseases that afflict and kill other trees. Unless destroyed by man, they live on indefinitely until burned, smashed by lightning, or cast down by storms, or by the giving way of the ground on which they stand.” wrote John Muir. He was also known as John of the Mountains, as he dedicated all his life to the Sierra Nevada Mountains. His efforts contributed to the creation of Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks and many other protected areas. What to see in Sequoia National Park?

Our US road trip plan was extremely packed. In fact, it turned out that we will spend only two days in San Francisco, on a first day we wanted to fully dedicate ourselves to worshipping temples of shopping, so the second day would be more touristy. Visiting most famous San Francisco attractions in one day is of course possible. However, to succeed, you still need a good plan, but don’t worry – we would like to share it with you.
Fold the top of your convertible, feel the wind in your hair, enjoy the freedom of travelling without any commitments. Monotonous scenery distracts you from everyday problems. Being on the road makes you re-discover simple pleasures – a night spent in a roadside motel or an unsophisticated meal. Your plan has only one point – the legendary Route 66 road trip.
I am always very skeptical when it comes to these crazy conspiracy theories. When I hear about something unusual, I start my own research to find rational explanation based on scientific facts. I will never understand how people may belive in anything in the Internet, published often without any reliable source of information. But our visit in Death Valley made me realize something.
Infamous deadly heat. We were so lucky, during our stay in Death Valley the temperature equaled to 46°C only. Majority of tourists go there only to take a picture next to the well-known sign in Badwater Basin. But there are many other things to do in Death Valley National Park.
OK, let’s be honest – as long as you are not from the US, wine is not the first thing that comes to mind when you think “California”. Hollywood, Venice Beach, plastic surgery – sure, but wait, wine?! All in all, let’s have a look on our wine tasting experience in Napa Valley wineries!
