There is no better way to explore a country by actually eating your way through it. Local cuisine is not only delicious but also usually tells you a lot about the country’s history and traditions. When we travel, we always try to find good restaurants filled with locals but lately we went one step further when it comes to foodie experiences. We discovered that in many cities you may actually attend cooking classes! Absolutely fantastic idea. Thanks to it we had the opportunity to get to know local products in Rome or learn how to make a real Italian pizza. Why not discovering Polish cuisine during cooking classes in Warsaw? I have been searching for a very special hotel in Fiji for a long time. We spent a lot of time figuring out which Fiji island to choose for our short stay. We were browsing booking.com but nothing seemed really tempting. To reach some hotels you need at least 1,5 day. The ones next to Nadi (where the airport is), seemed to be too big (like for 500 guests) or weren’t close to the coral reef, or simply didn’t have good reviews. In the end, by accident, I found a hidden gem – Navini Island Resort.
A few years ago, while I was studying in Athens, I went shopping for a shower gel. I just wanted to put a random bottle in my shopping basket when I noticed a modest brown bottle. It was Korres shower gel. The sticker promised that I would find 97% natural content inside. Organic cosmetics weren’t so popular in Poland back then, so I was really curious to test something new. This is how my long-term relationship with Korres and natural cosmetics began. Continue Reading
What to do in Santorini? Many of you wonder if there is actually anything else to see than a beautiful caldera view. Of course! We had a chance to drive across the whole island several times and we found our favorite things to do in Santorini. From the very first moment, as soon as our ferry from Crete entered the caldera and we could admire thousands of white & blue cave houses, we fell in love with this tiny island. A crazy idea crossed our minds: “Maybe we also can get married in Santorini?”
Are you planning a trip to New Zealand? Wondering how to plan a route to see all the most beautiful places? Or do you want to know how much this trip to New Zealand may cost? I honestly admit that despite being a relatively “small” country, traveling in New Zealand is much more exhausting than, for example, in the United States (which are much bigger!). Still, you can see all of the country’s greatest attractions. I hope that our experience will help you plan the perfect New Zealand itinerary.
Many people think that holidays organized by the travel agency are not true traveling. Honestly? I totally disagree with this approach. First of all, it’s the perfect solution for many super busy people. Sometimes traveling with a travel agency is just much cheaper than a self-organized trip. I have noticed this especially when it comes to the most popular Greek islands – airline tickets from Munich to Crete are more expensive than a one-week all-inclusive holiday package offered by the travel agency! In fact, it all depends on what you plan to do during holidays. Will you only explore 100 different paths from your hotel room to the pool (with a drink in your hand, obviously)? Or maybe you will decide to explore the world outside the hotel walls? If you want to make your holidays a truly breathtaking experience, check these 18 unique things to do in Crete! Continue Reading
When we bought our plane tickets to New Zealand, we knew we just have to go to one of these paradise islands of Oceania. We were considering Vanuatu or Fiji, finally deciding on that last one. We only had 4 days and we aimed at pure relaxation – in some truly unique place. It turned out that it’s not that easy and I had to spend dozens of hours searching the Internet for the perfect hotel… What is the problem with Fiji vacations?
